Prepaid mobile data plan in Greece from Wind is definitely worth to consider if you are travelling there and need to be online while on the move.
The good news is that 3G coverage is excellent – we’ve been to Crete, Santorini and Athens in September 2013 and even remove parts of the islands beaches have good 3G coverage. There is prepaid broadband Internet plan from local mobile operator Wind for 15 euro that allows to use 3Gb of data per month on HSPA speeds.
The not so good news is that for some strange reason there are no Wind stores that we know of in airports so you will have to go out of your way to find the Wind store near you. The good idea would be to ask your taxi driver or hotel receptionist for assistance.
